Former Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă said on Digi24’s “Studio Politic” program on Tuesday that President Klaus Iohannis introduced new words into the Romanian language vocabulary, giving the example of the word “gyroscope.”
Anca Suciu, Digi24 journalist: Can the PSD now blame you for grammar mistakes somehow, image errors, the fact that you brought a wrong PSD image?
Viorica Dăncilă: “I do not think that the PSD can make these reproaches. Let’s look at the statements of political leaders of other parties, those of the Minister of Education, who is a Romanian teacher, I am an engineer, let’s look at the statements of the President of Romania, who introduced new words into the vocabulary of the Romanian language.“.

Viorica Dăncilă: “Gyroscope or drawer. I do not know anymore. I remembered some of them. When there is pressure, even the most skilled player can make mistakes.“.
The gyroscope is a term that, according to DEX Online, means: “A solid body supported in such a way that it is free to rotate around its axis. Device that, driven by a rotational movement around one of the axes, can move so as not to change the direction of its axis of rotation. Device that ensures the stability and spatial orientation of an airplane, a submarine, etc. ”.
Klaus Iohannis used the term during a conference on August 19, when a journalist asked him why he supported the NLP recruitments of PSD members.
Klaus Iohannis asked him to repeat the last part of the question, saying, “The one with the gyroscope.”
