Romania coronavirus, balance sheet October 13. As of Monday, October 12, 157,352 cases of people infected with Covid-19 were confirmed in Romania.

UPDATE 13:00 The official balance of Tuesday, October 13, will be delayed, authorities announced.

The National Institute of Public Health announced this Tuesday, in a report, that Bucharest has registered an incidence of 3.1 accumulated in the last 14 days of all cases of Covid-19 infections.

Balance of Monday, October 12

As of Monday, October 12, in Romania, 157,352 cases of people infected by the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) were confirmed. 118,912 patients were declared cured.

After tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 2,069 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

As of Monday, 5,467 people diagnosed with the COVID-19 infection had died.

Between 11.10.2020 (10:00) – 12.10.2020 (10:00) 56 deaths were reported (37 men and 19 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Bacau, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Brașov, Călărași, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramureș, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Sibiu, Timiș, Vaslui and Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 20 to 29 years, 1 death in the age group 40 to 49 years, 8 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 18 deaths in the age category age 60 to 69 years, 21 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years and 7 deaths in the category of over 80 years.

All deaths were in patients with comorbidities.

The capital, on the verge of quarantine

The capital reached a 14-day accumulated contagion coefficient of 2.66 per thousand inhabitants. Alba follows with 2.35 and Vâlcea with 2.32.

Under these conditions, the authorities impose new restrictions. The San Dumitru pilgrimage, which should have been organized at the end of the month, in Bucharest, was canceled.
