UPDATE 13:35 – Adrian Mutu will not sit on the bench with Malta U21
After Răzvan Rotaru, the assistant coach of the U21 “national team” tested positive, the FRF decided that the entire coaching staff should be replaced for the match with Malta U21 on Tuesday, in Giurgiu. Adrian Mutu’s position on the technical bench will be filled by Mihai Stoichiță, FRF technical director. “He will be helped by Dinu Todoran and Dumitru Moraru”, announces frf.ro.
Adrian Mutu, considered Rotaru’s direct contact, will no longer hold the pre-match press conference, while the official training will no longer be held in Buftea, but in another stadium, the Federation also reports.

The Adrian Mutu staff member who tested positive for COVID-19 is second coach Răzvan Rotaru, according to GSP sources.
