The news comes two weeks after the elections. Now everything is clear! Who really won

For example, although official data provided by the Central Elections Office shows that there are several county councilors from PNL, the majority of county council chairs are from PSD.

The Central Electoral Office (BEC) published the final results of the local elections almost two weeks after the local elections.

Official data published by BEC show that, at the national level, most of the mandates of provincial councilors were obtained by the PNL, that is, 35.37%.

It is followed by PSD, with 27% of mandates, UDMR with 6.87%, PMP with 5% and USR-PLUS with 4.85% of mandates.

The situation is very different in Bucharest, where PSD leads with more than 38% of general counsel terms, followed by USR-PLUS with almost 31%, PNL with 21.8% and PMP with 9%.

On the other hand, BEC shows that, of the 41 terms of president of the Provincial Council, the Social Democratic Party (PSD) obtained 16 (39.02%), the National Liberal Party (PNL) obtained 15 terms (36.59%), while that the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) obtained 4 seats (9.76%).

Alliance National Liberal Party-Save Romania Union-Freedom, Unity and Solidarity Party (PNL-USR-PLUS), Electoral Alliance “Alliance for the Modernization of Neamt 2020”, Electoral Alliance PSD + ALDE Dolj, Alliance for Bistrita-Nasaud, PSD- Pro Alliance Buzau and the PNL Alliance USR PLUS each obtained 1 mandate (representing 2.44% each).

The mandates of the mayors of the main municipalities were obtained as follows: PNL (14 mandates); PSD (14 seats); Alliance USR PLUS (3 seats); UDMR (3 terms); PNL-USR-PLUS Alliance (1 term); PNL Alliance USR PLUS (1 term), Electoral Alliance Coalition for Maramureş (1 term); independent candidates (1 term); Democratic Forum of Germans in Romania (FDGR) (1 term); Romanian Ecological Party (PER) (1 term).

The mandate of Mayor General of Bucharest was obtained by an independent candidate (Nicusor Daniel Dan), supported by PNL and USR PLUS.
