When asked if the authorities could reconsider the decision, Raed Arafat said: “Only if the decision will be political, not technical. Not from a medical point of view, I know the opinion of my colleagues, we have no way to go back to such a decision. , which is taken in good faith and based on a very serious analysis, ”said Arafat.
The Romanian Patriarchate considers that banning the pilgrimage to Saint Parascheva for believers who do not live in Iasi is a “disproportionate and discriminatory measure”, according to a statement sent to the press on Friday.
