The stage of works on the first batch of the Sibiu Piteşti highway reached 25%. The construction site was inaugurated 6 months ago and the works are ahead of the schedule assumed by the construction company, since the technical project of the road lot was completed faster in about three months.

All the bridges planned on the route for the passage of small animals have been completed, and now work is being done on all sections, both in embankments and fillings, as well as in structures.

Lot 1 of the Sibiu – Pitești road is one of the lightest lots, with no mountain sections.

Work on the first 13-kilometer lot between Sibiu and Boiţa began in March this year. The Austrian company Porr is in charge of this project.

The contractual deadline for completion would be March 2023. If progress is made in six months 25%, then it should be ready on time, which is a rarity in our country.

Lot 5 Pitești – Curtea de Argeș was entrusted to the Italians of Astaldi in May and, according to the contract, they have one year to design.

Section 4, Tigveni-Curtea de Argeș, is in the bid selection process, and for the Tigveni – Cornetu lot, the tender was launched for a contract estimated at 1,100 million euros, the most valuable infrastructure work ever put up for auction .that is to say.

Lots 2 and 3, the mountain ones, are the heaviest.
