Nelu Tătaru, Minister of Health, sent an emotional message to Romanians who do not believe that Covid-19 exists, while announcing how many doses of Remdesivir are still in Romania at the moment.

Asked to send a message to those who do not believe in the existence of the coronavirus, Nelu Tataru said: “Go with me or with us to the hospitals, to see what is happening in intensive care, go to the emergency room, listen to the sick screaming in pain, go see the medical personnel who are still there after seven months. And if not, they didn’t have to anyone who was infected during this period or who lost the battle with the disease during this period, to assess once again whether the child or the parent deserved mistrust ”.

How many doses of Remdesivir does Romania have?

The Minister of Health specified, on Wednesday, during the Doctor de bine show, that in Romania there are 4000 doses of Remdesivir.

“Since June, 11,829 doses of Remdesivir have been administered to patients in Romania. At this time, we still have 4,000 vials of Remdesivir in stock. This drug is part of a complex of drugs that we provide in a protocol. Remdesivir has already been put on the market and we are in a contract and we expect to receive 12,000 doses in October, ”said the Minister of Health.

Nelu Tătaru says that Remdesivir cannot be produced in Iaşi, although Antibiotice Iași representatives said that this drug could be produced in Romania.

“No, we had this discussion, but there is no technological line, it would take us a few years. Instead, Antibiorice Iași is re-evaluating to produce oral antidiabetic drugs, euthyrox,” Tataru added.
