Special forecast for Bucharest, transmitted by the National Meteorological Administration (ANM).

Meteorologists warn that from Wednesday, October 7 at 8:00 p.m. and until Thursday at 10:00 a.m. the sky will be more cloudy, it will rain temporarily in the form of showers and electric shocks will be possible.

They can accumulate 15… 25 l / m2. The wind will be light and moderate, with some intensifications (40… 50 km / h) especially in the first part of the interval.

The maximum temperature on Thursday October 8 will be around 21 degrees, and the minimum will be 15 … 16 degrees Wednesday night to Thursday October 7/8 and 12 … 14 degrees Thursday night to Friday October 8/9.

The rains will sweep 33 counties in 48 hours

The National Weather Administration issued a code yellow weather advisory for 17 counties.

The ANM reported that there will be significant quantitative rains between October 7 at 8:00 p.m. and October 8 at 10:00 a.m.

The affected areas are southern Banat, Oltenia, locally in Muntenia, southern Moldova and Transylvania.

In these areas there will be torrential rains, and in short intervals of time or by accumulation the amounts of water will exceed 25… 30 l / m2 and will isolate 40… 50 l / m2.

Manifestations of atmospheric instability will be temporarily noted in the south and southeast of the territory, and in the rest there will be moderate rains, but in smaller areas.

Weather alerts were sent to another 16 counties as of Thursday.

Thus, according to ANM, there will be significant quantitative rains, between October 8, 10:00 – October 9, 10:00.

In the mentioned interval, in Moldova, locally in Muntenia, South Carpathians and southeastern Transylvania, there will be torrential rains, and in short time intervals or by accumulation the amounts of water will exceed 25… 35 l / m2 and in small areas, especially in Moldova and in the mountains, 50… 70 l / m2.
