Bucharest records a new all-time high for new coronavirus cases reported overnight. In the last 24 hours, 562 cases were confirmed, a third of the total of 1,591 reported, given that fewer tests were processed on Sunday.

In the past 24 hours, there were 1,591 new COVID-19 cases out of 6,537 tests performed. Another 45 Romanians have died due to coronavirus infections and 592 patients are hospitalized for intensive care. The positive rate in the last 24 hours is 24.33%.
