Dr. Adrian Marinescu, infectious diseases specialist at the Matei Balş Institute in the capital, announced exclusively for DC NEWS how many doses of Remdesivir the hospital has and how many patients can be treated.
“Today we have obtained another 200 doses of Remdesivir. We will be able to treat 33 or 34 patients, but we will make efforts to complement the action in the next period.”said Dr. Adrian Marinescu exclusively for DC NEWS.
To date, on October 4, in Romania, 135,900 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed. 108,135 patients were declared cured.
Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 1,835 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,826. Of these, 598 are hospitalized in ATI.
