What we see now is the evolution for a whole summer.

A troubling reassessment of SARS-VOC-2 infection cases. It is the fourth day with more than 2,000 cases in Romania. Another 2,064 Romanians tested positive in the last 24 hours. Another 32 people died. There is a record number of patients in intensive care: 583. The Minister of Health, Nelu Tătaru, says that “what we see now is the evolution during the summer”, when certain activities were resumed.

“There are 583 patients in ATI, of which 179 are on invasive mechanical ventilation. Right now we are in 2,064 cases. We are trying to establish a plateau at 2,000, but it is not just about us. The pandemic is not going to the hospital. “We treat what goes to the hospital and we try to have as few victims as possible and give the appropriate treatments. The prehospital is the one that transmits the transmission in the community and that brings us outbreaks.”

I had two months in which I made an address record, respected by almost everyone. “We had a drop in the number of cases at the beginning of June, certain currents of denial, of trivializing everything that happened in the first period,” he insisted. They continued, as of May 15, those relaxations or returns to normality, followed by a vacation. What we see now is the evolution of a whole summer and resumption of activities.

If everyone complies with those rules, we should stabilize that limit at around 2000. Otherwise, we will see gradual growth, not exponential, in the next period. We must think not only about the growing number of cases. All these cases come in a health system, they will be cared for by an already tired medical team for 7 months ”.
