Clotilde Armand announced her victory on Tuesday night, shortly before midnight. She affirms that the difference in votes in her favor is more than 1,000 votes and threatened the PSD members not to “go to the polls any more.”
“We won mathematically,” Clotilde Armand announced Tuesday night, in front of the Electoral Office of Sector 1.
He affirms that “there is no legal basis for the recount,” in reference to the decision to be announced by the Central Electoral Bureau on Wednesday.
In addition, Armand warned his opponents not to “go to the polls” and promised that the investigation into a possible fraud will go to the end.
“If Tudorache and Firea want several years in prison, I tell them to try to go to the polls. (…) I promise that I will fight with all my might so that the fraud attempt that existed does not go unpunished, ”he also stated.
Clotilde Armand affirms that the difference in votes between her and Daniel Tudorache is more than 1,000 in her favor.
Clotilde Armand (USR-PLUS candidate, also supported by PNL) obtained 36,255 votes, and her opponent, Daniel Tudorache (PSD) received 35,322 votes, according to USR sources.
