Clotilde Armand maintains her advantage over her opponent, Daniel Tudorache, in the elections for the Sector 1 City Council, according to the latest partial figures announced by the Central Electoral Bureau.
The candidate supported by USR-PLUS and PNL in the Sector 1 City Council, Clotilde Armand, remains in first place in the local elections of Sector 1, with 41.03% of votes, with a difference of 1.25% with respect to the PSD candidate, Daniel Tudorache, who has 39.78%, according to the partial data centralized by BEC, until Tuesday, at 8:00 p.m., after counting 96% of the votes.
Clotilde Armand declared this Tuesday, in the middle of a scandal in Sector 1, that it is not necessary to recount the votes, because there are already minutes signed by all party representatives.
“It is not necessary to recount the votes, it is difficult. The minutes were clear. The recount is not possible, because the law does not allow us to,” declared the USR-PLUS candidate for mayor of Sector 1.
