A party accuses the disappearance of votes in the elections of sector 2 of the Capital. The Central Electoral Office and the Ministry of the Interior were notified in an open letter.
Ramona Bruynseels’ party, RE: START ROMANIA, affirms that there are verified inconsistencies between the votes mentioned in the minutes and those registered in the database of the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP).
“More precisely, in Sector 2 Bucharest, electoral college 231, the candidate of the RE Party: START ROMANIA has 7 votes, and only 1 vote appears on the AEP website, writes Ramona-Ioana Bruynseels, in the appeal sent to the press and authorities. We consider that it is a fraud and not an error, because in the same section there are inconsistencies in several parties between the number of votes in the minutes and the votes in the electronic database of the AEP. Some in addition and advantage of a certain party, and others in the minus and disadvantage of the parties, as is our case.
The RE: START ROMANIA party is continuing investigations in various devotional sections in Bucharest and in the country, as there are already indications of vote fraud from other parties. We request the counting of votes, verification of ballots and minutes. We ask that you launch an investigation into this as soon as possible, to establish the culprits! Each Romanian has entrusted her vote to a candidate whom she believes can represent her, and these “mistakes” further weaken the confidence of citizens in the transparency and fairness of state institutions.
Ramona Bruynseels ran in the 2019 presidential elections, obtaining 247,245 votes, which represents 2.75% of the total options issued.
