Andra Pleșa, PNL candidate in the local elections for the post of mayor of Caransebeș, lost the ballot to the independent Felix Borcean. Instead, she became a local councilor on the list opened by Interior Minister Marcel Vela, who entered the race to help her.
“It was a beautiful campaign where I had the opportunity to meet people who gave me the confidence and courage to run! Yesterday’s elections are a triumph for me, because I managed to coagulate a team of young people that will continue to be equally active and present in the life of the city, because I managed to generate a real debate about good and necessary projects for the city. And because, throughout this time, we have strengthened honest collaborations and discovered sincere friends.

I congratulate Felix Borcean on his success. From now on, I will only be the advocate for the people of Caransebeș and will be careful that their expectations are not deceived, ”Pleşa wrote on Facebook.
Marcel Vela delegated, last month, his attributions regarding the elections, heading the list of candidates of the PNL in the City Council of Caransebeș, where he was mayor for three terms.
