The current mayor of PSD sector 1, Dan Tudorache, insists that he won the election by a difference of 200 votes, despite the partial BEC data that his opponent, Clotilde Armand, was given the winner. In a phone interview with Digi24, Tudorache says that “BEC counted somewhere in 92% of polling stations” and that he expects BEC to “confirm its 200-vote lead” after the count is complete. Tudorache also says that if the BEC proves that Armand won the elections, “the will of the citizen is the letter of the law for us.”
“Yes, I also saw that BEC counted somewhere in 92% of the polling stations. I have done the parallel count, I have a 200 vote advantage and I am waiting for this advantage to be confirmed by the Central Electoral Office. When will the votes be counted? Sector 1 polling stations, ”said Dan Tudorache of Digi24.
“Feach party receives a report at the exit of the polls. We take these minutes, summarize them, and give ourselves a certain number. We summarized them, giving us a difference of 200 votes. Point. “Added Tudorache, he asked how he made the parallel count that he says shows him the victory.
“Citizens really vote equally for Clotilde Armand and me, so the differences are small.
If the citizens voted with Clotilde Armand, if the Central Electoral Table proves it, of course, the will of the citizen is a letter of law for us ”, concluded Tudorache.
Clotilde Armand, a USR-PLUS candidate also supported by PNL in the City Council of sector 1, reacted to the position of Dan Tudorache. She said that the incumbent mayor “does not know how to count” and that “PSD is history in Sector 1”.
According to the data from the exit poll, Tudorache would have obtained 36.5% of the votes and his opponent 48%.
