“We have partial results, but I say that they are already relevant. More than 15% of the votes were counted in parallel and we lost ”, said Nicolae Robu, mayor of PNL and candidate for another term.
Robu also said that he respects the wishes of the people of Timisoara, even if he is surprised by the large difference in votes.
“It is the will of the people of Timisoara, I can only respect it. The difference in votes is great, in percentages I cannot tell you because it could not be calculated in percentages, because I did not have it from the other candidates, but comparing the number of votes, the difference is big, surprisingly big for me, so I considered, seeing this campaign, that it would be a tight score and I was optimistic until the last moment. But the difference is big, which means that the expectations of the people of Timisoara they are different, ”added Robu.
