Almost 100 people from the Ormeniș commune in Brașov could not vote, because they have their identity cards promised in the local bar-shop, where they bought with debts. Several of them called the police after the store owner refused to return their identification cards.

On September 26, around 5:30 p.m., the policemen of the 6th Rural Police Station of Hoghiz were notified by the call 112 from SNUAU, about the fact that the administrator of a company allegedly gave several identity cards as a guarantee in some purchases carried out in the company they represent.

In this case, a criminal file was prepared under the aspect of the commission of the crime of impeding the exercise of electoral rights, a file implemented under the coordination of the competent prosecutor’s office, in which a legal solution will be proposed at the end of the investigations, ”said Commissioner Alina Iván, spokeswoman for IPJ Brasov. , according to newsbv.ro.
