Saturday’s balance of the number of infections in 24 hours indicated 1,552 new diagnosed cases and a number of 54 deaths.

To date, on September 27, in the territory of Romania, 122,673 cases of people infected by the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.

98,607 patients were declared cured.

After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 1,438 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.

Apart from the recently confirmed cases, after reassessment of the patients who were already positive, 346 people were positively reconfirmed.

To date, 4,718 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.

Between 26.09.2020 (10:00) – 27.09.2020 (10:00) there were 31 deaths (21 men and 10 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Bacau, Bihor, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Caraș-Severin, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Maramureș, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Teleorman, Timiș, Vaslui and Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 40 to 49 years, 2 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 11 deaths in the age category 60 to 69 years, 7 deaths in the age category age 70 to 79 years and 10 deaths in the category over 80 years.

All deaths were in patients with comorbidities.

In health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 7,408. Of these, 535 are hospitalized in ATI.

Following nationwide testing, compared to the last report, 1,552 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were recorded, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Apart from the recently confirmed cases, after retesting the patients who were already positive, 633 people were positively reconfirmed.

To date, 4,687 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.

Between 25.09.2020 (10:00) – 26.09.2020 (10:00) were registered 54 deaths (28 men and 26 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Botoșani, Brașov, Călărași, Cluj, Constanța, Dolj, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramureș, Neamț, Olt, Prahova , Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiș, Tulcea, Ilfov and Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category of 20 to 29 years, 3 deaths in the age category of 50 to 59 years, 14 deaths in the age category of 60 to 69 years, 16 deaths in the category of age 70 to 79 years and 20 deaths in the category over 80 years.

51 of the deaths registered are of some patients who presented comorbidities and for 3 deceased patients so far no comorbidities have been reported.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,249. Of these, 512 are hospitalized in ATI.

Counties with the most new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours

Bucharest (231) and the counties of Iasi (80), Bacau (75) and Constanta (72) are the areas with the most confirmed cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

The lowest number of cases was registered in the counties of Vrancea (6), Ialomiţa, (8), Giurgiu (9).

Furthermore, most of the SARS-CoV-2 infection cases recorded so far are found in Bucharest – 16,327 and in Suceava counties – 6,420, Brasov – 5,837, Prahova – 5,629 and Arges – 5,462.

More than 4,000 diseases were recorded in the counties of Iaşi, Bacău and Galaţi, more than 3,000 – in the counties of Bihor, Cluj, Dâmboviţa, Ilfov, Timiş, Neamţ, and more than 2,000 cases are in the counties of Arad, Brăila, Buzău, Constanţa, Dolj, Hunedoara, Sibiu, Vaslui, Vrancea and Vâlcea.
