Marcel Vela said that “operational teams and intervention reserves” have been set up, including by sending agents to the territory, so that in each county any call to 112 or any reported incident, MIA employees can react “as soon as possible” . time”.

In each region there are teams that will monitor and guide the county inspections, and 82 agents from the central level were deployed in the territory, “for monitoring and guidance.” Teams made up of members of the Control Body of the Ministry of the Interior together with gendarmes, border guards or IGPR teams will verify the activity of MIA employees in the territory on election day.

Bogdan Despescu pointed out that recently there have been more applications for residence visas than usual, and in this context he called the attention of those who would take such steps for electoral purposes that will withstand the rigors established by law. “We warn the people who applied for these visas for electoral purposes that MIA personnel are on duty and that when violations of legal deadlines are found, the corresponding measures will be ordered,” said Quaestor Bogdan Despescu, who said they are being conducting field checks. .

The electoral campaign for the 2020 local elections had 1,373 electoral demonstrations, without incidents. Likewise, the authorities received 1,003 electoral notifications, 295 criminal cases were drawn up and 348 sanctions were applied, mentioned Bogdan Despescu.
