Between 21.09.2020 (10:00) – 22.09.2020 (10:00) there were 45 deaths (28 men and 17 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeş, Bacău, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Braşov, Buzău, Caraş-Severin, Dâmboviţa, Galaţi, Giurgiu, Gorj, Hunedoara, Ialomiţa, Iaşi, Neamţ, Olt, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Timişrance and Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 30 to 39 years, 1 death in the age category 40 to 49 years, 6 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 11 deaths in the age category age 60 to 69 years, 16 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years and 10 deaths in the category over 80 years.

All 45 deaths were in patients with comorbidities.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,119. Of these, 496 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 2,253,380 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 21,978 were carried out in the last 24 hours, 13,773 based on case definition and medical protocol and 8,205 on request.

In Romania, 11,090 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home and 7,566 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 34,393 people are in home quarantine and 8 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

Incentives for teachers

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,240. Of these, 464 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 2,231,402 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 6,348 were performed in the last 24 hours, 4,264 according to case definition and medical protocol and 2,084 on request.
