The late footballer played 125 games for Steaua Bucharest, from 1975 to 1981, and scored 3 goals. After three years at CS Targoviste, he reached the rival of the “military”, Rapid Bucharest, where he played two seasons, 1984-1986, playing 59 games, in which he managed to score 13 goals.
