Marcel Ciolacu, the leader of PSD, announced that he signed a post-election agreement with Victor Ponta, based on which PSD and Pro Romania will be able to form majorities in local and county councils after the local elections on September 27, reports Agerpres.
“It is the first time in 30 years that the decision has been for each organization to form its own local alliances. Indeed, a few days ago I signed an agreement with Víctor Ponta to create majorities in the councils, the town councils, a kind of post-election agreement. And you saw the decision of the National Political Committee to go alone to the elections of December 6, in a way reflecting the decision of Gabriela Firea to run alone, without political arrangements that the citizens sometimes do not perceive, by the General Mayor of the Capital ”, Ciolacu said on Saturday, in Pitesti, during a press conference.
The PSD leader had announced on September 15 that he had received the approval of the National Political Committee for the creation of such post-electoral alliances.
