In the last 24 hours they have been 1,333 new cases of Covid-19, of 23,030 of the tests performed. Other 42 of people died due to the coronavirus infection. They are hospitalized in intensive care 461 of patients.
To date, on September 19 in Romania, 111,550 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed. 89,119 patients were declared cured.
Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 1,333 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.
To date, 4,402 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.
Between 18.09.2020 (10:00) – 19.09.2020 (10:00) there were 42 deaths (21 men and 21 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Bacău, Brăila, Călărași, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramureș, Mureș, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș, Vaslui and Bucharest.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 40 to 49 years, 6 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 12 deaths in the age category 60 to 69 years, 15 deaths in the age category of age 70 to 79 years and 8 deaths in the category of over 80 years.
All deaths were in patients with comorbidities.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 6,996. Of these, 461 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 2,210,071 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 23,030 were carried out in the last 24 hours, 14,305 based on case definition and medical protocol and 8,725 on request.
Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 1,118 tests processed before the last 24 hours and delivered until September 19 have been reported.
In Romania, 11,845 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 6,013 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 38,818 people are quarantined at home, and there are 7 people in institutionalized quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 1,132 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 572 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform the public.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55 of 05.15.2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 488 sanctions for minor offenses, amounting to 112,300 lei.
The Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04.07.2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.
