Serious accident in the Capital, in the area of ​​the Ciurel Bridge, around 4:00 p.m. Tram 41 runs over a pedestrian who, according to the first information, is crossing it illegally, reports Antena 3.

According to a statement from the Highway Brigade, around 4:00 p.m., by calling 112, the police were notified about the occurrence of a traffic accident on the Virtuţii highway.

“According to the first data, the driver of tram line 41, which was traveling on the Virtuţii road, from Crângaşi to Lujerului, in the Pod Ciurel area, injured a man between 50 and 60 years old. After the impact, the victim died on the spot, ”says the cited source.

The wound was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was 0.

After the accident, the pedestrian lost his life. Traffic in the area is blocked.
