From what I found out, in many schools the hybrid classes were difficult to do because the teachers refused to register or because the connection was weak, they had technical problems. Consequently, the learning pace will be much slower because teachers will have to teach the same content twice: once with the first group, once with the other group. Children who stay at home and who, unfortunately, in this system, only have the role of spectators, only watch and do not have many possibilities to interact with the teacher and peers, they will not be actively involved in learning. And then when they return to school after the end of the two weeks, they will find a lot of gaps that need to be filled.“, Cristina Tunegaru explained for DC News.
Cristina Tunegaru told us that she would have liked at least one opportunity “to have tablets for all the children in the first days of school. Let’s make sure that all children have the opportunity to receive an education. I find it absolutely horrible. ”
The teacher heard a principal on the first day of school say that schools will start writing European projects to get tablets. “Such a thing is unacceptable! When will they receive tablets? After a semester? After a year? What is happening to them during all this time?” Added Professor Cristina Tunegaru, referring to the students who study in the schools in a hybrid or red setting.
The gap between children widens
Cristina Tunegaru believes that, given the current situation, the difference between children who come from families with limited possibilities “who we condemn to poverty” and those who can afford to acquire the necessary materials and devices is deepening.
