The National Credit Guarantee Fund for SMEs has signed agreements with 15 banks to grant loans through the Casa Nueva program, an option decided by the Government to replace Casa Primera.

The director of the Fund, Dumitru Nancu, says that the interest is higher than for Prima Casa, where there were 14 credit institutions that made loans.

Dumitru Nancu: “Under the Casa Nueva program, which became operational on September 1, we have 15 agreements signed. Last week, the Fund signed all 15 agreements, and on September 1, banks began receiving applications for the Casa New. Home.

Basically, this week they will end up uploading applications. According to our information, by the end of this week, the volume of applications will exceed 1,000. “

How much should a Romanian earn who accesses a home loan through the New House?

Depending on the credit period, the rate starts at 1500 lei and goes up to more than 1800 lei, and the minimum wage should be between 3300 and 4100 lei.

If we want to buy an apartment for 80,000 euros, we must have a minimum wage of 3800 lei for a loan taken over a period of 30 years.

For Romanians who want a more expensive house, say 100,000 euros, the earned salary should be between 4,700 and 5,900 lei, because the rate will also exceed 2,000 lei, regardless of the crediting period.

In the case of a house worth 140,000 euros, the minimum profit must be 6,600 lei.

Analysts point out that the new conditions for obtaining housing, doubling the maximum credit and increasing the state guarantee, will lead to an artificial growth of new housing.
