Dan Mihalache and Adrian Cioroianu, called ambassadors by Iohannis

Klaus Iohannis signed the revocation decrees for 14 ambassadors on Monday. Among them are Dan Mihalache, Romanian Ambassador to Great Britain, and Adrian Cioroianu, UNESCO Ambassador.

Last Friday, Klaus Iohannis withdrew another group of 12 ambassadors from office, including the one from Moscow.

Dan Mihalache was the head of the Presidential Chancellery after Klaus Iohannis won his first term as head of state. During his tenure, he managed the situation of Romanians in the United Kingdom in the context of Brexit, as well as several electoral rounds.

Adrian Cioroianu was Minister of Foreign Affairs during the mandate of Călin Popescu Tăriceanu.

• Dana Manuela Constantinescu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
• Viorel Stănilă, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania in the Republic of North Macedonia;
