One of the most controversial municipalities is that of Constanța. PSD, through Decebal Făgădău, PNL, with Admiral Vergil Chițac and USR through Stelian Ion are fighting for it. Yesterday another characteristic moment of the electoral campaigns was consumed under the sign of Caragiale: Stelian Ion attempted a victimization maneuver, recounting how they asked him to withdraw from the race. Who asked for it? The magnate Gabriel Comanescu. This is what Stelian Ion said at a press conference, repeated statements to UM G4 Media:
“I refused, and after the meeting the attacks multiplied. We are talking about a meeting that took place on May 27th. On August 12, from that Newsweek article, written by Mr. Sabin Orcan, a whole outburst and spate of attacks began, which I still hope will continue the revelations I made. There are two more weeks left and I am convinced that they will not give up on this guy. (…). When Dan Andronic, about whom much has been written and we know, puts pressure again with Evenimentul Zilei and many similar publications, pushed by tycoons and tycoons who have his interests…. Anyone who imagines that out of love for Constanța, these people support a certain candidate, is deeply mistaken, ”Stelian Ion told G4Media.
So let’s take the facts as explained by the frightened USR member: Gabriel Comănescu meets Stelian Ion in may 27th, asks him to leave. Deny. In August 12 an article signed (not written!) by Sabin Orcan appears in Newsweek, and the undersigned is lobbying through Evenimentul Zilei. For what? For Stelian Ion to retire.
My comment for UM G4 Media was brief: Stupid! Because a modicum of documentation would have shown that user Stelian Ion defeats the plains. Evenimentul Zilei began writing about her sulphurous past and her relationships with the Radu Mazăre gang since 2019. Here is a sample of July 2019:

So this article is about 300 days before Stelian Ion had the supposed meeting with Gabriel Comănescu, and Sabin BOrcan published the famous investigation with the apartment taken by the member of the USR through a lie. Unlike other publications, Evenimentul Zilei has one of the oldest and most experienced journalists in the Romanian press in Constanța: Feri Predescu. To whom he sued, demanding 15,000 euros. Good luck with the ECHR… That is why we do not need others to give us encouragement and information.
For this reason in January 2020, I published another article, with documents (The story of the leader of the USR of the Radu Mazăre gang with documents. The details of the lawyer Stelian Ion), which served as a source of “inspiration” for Sabin BOrcan, but only because the quote did not was cited. more tired of quoting.
Two lengthy articles are proof that Evenimentul Zilei published revelations about Stelian Ion, before Newsweek was thirsty for investigations. Long before Stelian Ion’s so-called meeting with Gabriel Comănescu. And unlike Newsweek, I had no contact with businessman Gabriel Comanescu. Because we don’t need it, as I explained earlier.
As I said, unlike the bankrupt Newsweek magazine, and to be clear, I quote exactly what its editor said: “Newsweek Romania’s approach has nothing to do with businessman Gabriel Comanescu. Our only contracts with his company, GSP, were in recent years, on the occasion of energy events.“The bald man puts his hand on his head, and Sabin BOrcan’s lengthy explanation is ridiculous. He has no connections, but yes … He fell like a fool into Stelian Ion’s trap, giving confused explanations. I am convinced that he was afraid to follow Stelian Ion’s revelations. If I had the spirit of an investigative journalist, I would say briefly: Stelian Ion is the one who needs to explain himself, because he is running for Constan Ayuntamientoa City Council!
Instead of PS: One final clarification for those who want to understand Sabin BOrcan’s borderline psychosis behavior. I was very upset because I found out that he falsified his biography saying that he graduated from a university that does not exist. That I informed the public that I was a journalist-imposter. It was our journalistic reaction to the miserable campaign he ran.

Since then he has fallen into a deep depression, broken from time to time by outbursts of anger. I personally understand it. He runs a magazine that sells 1,500 copies in good months (the success of the great Newsweek brand!), He has fewer online readers in a month than Evenimentul Zilei / Capital in one day, he cannot pay the salaries of his collaborators (at the moment there are backlogs for three months!) and there are still revelations about his antics with various politicians from PSD, PNL or elsewhere.

The difference? Evenimentul Zilei / Capital has been profitable for the last 3 years, we have never delayed the salaries of the 100 employees, and 1.1 million Romanians read us daily. And we kept our editorial line unchanged. Hey bad boys it’s us
Will we end this conflict with the director of the Newsweek creek? Yes, when Sabin BOrcan proves extremely simply that all things are just a lie: presenting his public diploma of graduation from the Faculty of Journalism.
Then, in the spirit of the opening itself, in order not to take two trips, we ask you to show the public how you paid for the Newsweek franchise. Exactly what the online gambling company gave you 50,000 euros two years ago. But above all in what contractual way, through which company did they take the money, what did they provide for them, etc.
And only then will we not say: The bald man puts his hand on his head when it comes to hair!
