A 41-year-old man who sexually assaulted a 4-year-old girl on a street in Dorohoi, Botoșani County, was arrested. The girl was saved by the reaction of her 6-year-old friend, who was also attacked, but began to scream. The two told the story of law enforcement.
Police officers from the Dorohoi Municipality detained the 41-year-old man from George Enescu Commune for 24 hours, who is now being investigated for sexual assault and beatings or other acts of violence.
“As a result of the tests, it was established that on September 11, while he was on Decembrie 1 street in Dorohoi, he approached a 4-year-old minor against whom he had sexually assaulted, touching – in the intimate area. Another minor of A 6-year-old, who was nearby, reacted to the man’s behavior, at which point he allegedly grabbed her arm, exerting pressure, but without causing injury, ”say Botoșani Police representatives.

The man then gave up his actions and left the area because he was afraid of being seen after the girls started crying and screaming.
Soon, a mixed crew, made up of a gendarme and a policeman, who were patrolling the area, were arrested by the two girls who told law enforcement officers what had happened.
The police identified the attacker and took him to the police headquarters for questioning.
He was transferred to the LEI Botoșani Detention and Preventive Arrest Center, and on Saturday he will be presented to the court with a proposal to take a preventive measure.
