Raed Arafat announces on Facebook that he asked DNA to tell him if he appears as a suspect in any case investigated by the institution. The head of the DSU said that he wanted to clarify this issue as a result of the continuous attacks against him, “released to the public based on information that the sources would give him.”

Raed Arafat: “As a result of the continuous attacks that are presented to me, broadcast to the public opinion by the Romanian television station, through which, based on information that would be given from the sources, my name would appear in corruption cases implemented by ADN, I presented last week an address to the National Anticorruption Directorate to establish whether I am a suspect or accused in any criminal case pending before the aforementioned institution.

Today, following the DNA response, which I attach below, it is clear that my name does NOT appear associated with any quality of suspect or accused in criminal cases investigated by the National Anti-Corruption Directorate.

I would like to thank the other representatives of the media who did not take care of this unproven and false information, which has the obvious role of damaging my public image. “
