“I like to be among people”

Alexandru Arșinel sells a kilo of tomatoes at 6 lei, that of kapia peppers of various colors at 10 lei, gulis at 6 lei, and tomato juice asks for 15 lei per liter. The vegetables come from the greenhouses of Arşinel’s son, Cristian.

Alexandru Arșinel was born on June 4, 1939 in the commune of Dolhasca, Suceava county. He dedicated his life to the theater, which is why he became one of the most beloved actors in Romania.

Alexandru Arșinel (81 years old) was the director of the Constantin Tănase Theater in Bucharest for 20 years, where he was employed for 60 years.

Alexandru Arșinel owns a 225 square meter apartment in the capital and two holiday homes, in Sinaia and Crevedia. He also has four parcels of land, but also a third of his parents’ home in Dolhasca, Suceava County.
