Partizan Belgrade have a new coach, Aleksandar Stanojevic, who wants Planic on the team. Planic is also in advanced negotiations with Maccabi Haifa, where he must undergo a medical examination.
Bogdan Planic unilaterally broke his contract with FCSB and is now looking for his team. However, the 28-year-old defender is confused by the 10 million euro clause he had in the contract. However, the Partizan Belgrade seems willing to take the risk and pass it on.
Is Planic moving to Partizan? Becali could receive 10 million euros
Novosti points out that Partizan Belgrade has a new coach, Aleksandar Stanojevic, who wants to finalize the defense. Partizan has already traded Aleksandar Miljkovic (right defender, was in Alashkert) and the list also includes Zlatan Sehovic (left defender, Maccabi Netanya), Svetozar Markovic (central defender, Olympiacos), but also Bogdan Planic.
The Serbian defender looks for a team during this period, but fails to catch a transfer due to the way he broke up with FCSB. Planic unilaterally broke the contract, even though he had one more year on his contract. As a result, Gigi Becali announced that the team that legitimizes him runs the risk of paying that buyout clause of 10 million euros.
Until the situation is clarified, Bogdan Planic can freely transfer from the contract based on a document from FIFA. However, if the player loses the lawsuit with FCSB, both Planic and the transferring club risk paying a compensation of 10 million euros.
Goztepe wanted to transfer Bogdan Planic, but did not risk paying 10 million euros
Bogdan Planic was in very advanced negotiations with Goztepe, from Turkey’s first league. The 28-year-old defender came to sign the contract, but the club’s managers changed their minds at the last minute, due to that 10 million euro clause:
“Planic came here and we agreed with him on all aspects. However, there is a unilateral termination of the contract with his old club (not – FCSB). It is about 10 million euros and two million euros. Although we like it and We still want him, we think it is too risky to sign with him. Goztepe’s position is clear. We knew there was a problem with Planic, but we realized that it was different from what we were told. In this situation, the club is responsible for any action ”, commented Talat Papatya, president of Goeztepe.
Planic would have moved to Goztepe for a salary of 500,000 euros per season. The agreement would be valid for two years.
And the Maccabi Haifa is trying to transfer to Planic
According to the Israeli press, the 28-year-old defender is also in advanced talks with Maccabi Haifa. Bogdan Planic has already arrived in Israel, with a plane that took off from Istanbul and will undergo medical tests. The proposed contract is also for two years, but the Israeli press points out that “it is one of the most complicated transfers”, due to that clause of 10 million euros.
