The civil court of Ancona seized the inheritance of more than one million euros that a rich Italian left for two Romanians who accompanied him in the last years of his life.

The court is now awaiting the administration of all the evidence, which could happen in a few months or even years, depending on Italian press.

Two Romanians, aged 42 and 31, inherited from a wealthy Italian, who died at the age of 66, more than one million euros, through a will made in 2018. This year, in March, the man, who was not married and had no children, he died. When they learned of the inheritance, the man’s closest relatives, four cousins, contested the will, claiming that at the time of signing he was not in full mental faculties.

We are convinced that the will was signed when the owner was not in full mental faculties and did not have the ability to understand what he was signing“Said the lawyer for the relatives, Luigi Fiori.

Initially, after filing the appeal of the relatives, the Ancona Court blocked the process of granting the inheritance – approximately 1 million euros in cash and an apartment – although the documents show that Romanian women are legal heirs. However, after various tests and testimonies were submitted to the file, the court decided to institute the seizure requested by the next of kin, pending the conclusion of the investigation.

Gabriele Galeazzi, the legal representative of the two Romanians, says, however, that the testament was signed before a notary and that there are documents that attest that the man was lucid when the deed of inheritance was concluded.
