Senator Roxana Paţurcă and MPs Adrian Todor, Cătălin Rădulescu and Dan Ciocan were excluded from PSD on Tuesday for being absent from the joint plenary session of Parliament in which the motion of no confidence had to be debated and voted on.
The decision to exclude the four was made at the PSD National Political Council meeting.
Carmen Dan, a Teleorman senator, was also absent from the meeting, stating that she could not be present in Parliament because she has the obligation to be in self-isolation, because she is in direct contact with a person confirmed positive with the SARS-CoV virus. two.

“The first decision of the National Political Council was to exclude from the motion of censure four of the five parliamentarians who were absent yesterday (not Monday) from the motion of censure. After the roll call, only 226 parliamentarians attended the meeting, requiring the presence of 233 deputies and senators.
