“I am saddened to announce that my father, Jerry Stiller, died of natural causes. He was an extraordinary father and grandfather and a husband dedicated to Anne for 62 years. We will miss you. I love you, Dad,” wrote Ben Stiller on Twitter.
Jerry Stiller starred in “Seinfeld”, playing George Costanzas’ father Frank and Arthur Spooner in the comedy series “The King Of Queens”.
He also starred opposite his son Ben in “Zoolander” and “Zoolander 2”, as well as in “Heavyweights”, “Hot Pursuit” and “The Heartbreak Kid”. Earlier in his career, Jerry played alongside his wife Anne Meara, Ben’s mother, and created the comedy duo Stiller And Meara, who died in 2015.
