Apple continues to launch AirPower, that device that can simultaneously charge an iPhone, Apple Watch, and an AirPod case, and its employees are working from home on this product, which could launch in 2020, or even 2021.
AirPower will have fewer coils for wireless charging, and an iPhone A11 chip will take care of how power is transferred to eliminate overheating issues, the current being supplied via a Lightning cable.
Apple wanted to launch AirPower about 2 years ago, but after many attempts to finalize the product, it decided to give up, but not entirely, so we hope it will be earlier this year.
Here is my concept of “C68”
Apple’s most current internal prototype.– Fewer coils, with less overlap
– A11 chip inside to control heat.
– Lightning cable on the right side
(Although that is expected to change in retail models)If they succeed, it is expected for the fourth quarter of 2020 / first quarter of 2021.
