Another 2,620 people have been infected with coronavirus in Romania in the last 24 hours, and they have been confirmed after 7,704 tests throughout the country.

Since the start of the pandemic, 618,429 cases of people infected by the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Romania, while 543,341 patients have been declared cured.

After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 2,620 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.

Until today, 15,334 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection died.

104 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. (65 men and 39 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Bacău, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Caraș-Severin, Călărași, Cluj, Constanța, Dolj, Giurgiu , Gorj, Ialomița, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Neamț, Olt, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș, Vaslui and Bucharest.

Of these, 5 deaths were recorded in the age category 40 to 49 years, 10 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 24 deaths in the age category 60 to 69 years, 32 deaths in the age category age 70 to 79 years. years and 33 deaths in the category over 80 years.
