28.3% positivity rate in the last 24 hours. New registry of COVID patients admitted to ATI

In the last 24 hours, 3,240 new cases of COVID-19 were registered out of the 11,445 tests performed. The infection rate is 28.3%. Another 120 Romanians died due to coronavirus infections, while in ATI there are 1,076 COVID patients, a new record.

To date, on November 9, in Romania, 306,991 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.

206,793 patients were declared cured.

Following tests conducted at the national level, compared to the last report, 3,240 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Aside from the recently confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 991 people were positively reconfirmed.

Four regions have already exceeded the coefficient of 6 infections per thousand inhabitants.

To date, 8,009 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 08.11.2020 (10:00) – 09.11.2020 (10:00) 130 deaths (72 men and 58 women) were reported, of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brașov, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Giurgiu, Gorj, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Neamț, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorrestman, Timiș, Il.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 0 to 9 years, 2 deaths in the age category 30 to 39 years, 6 deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 24 deaths in the age category of age 50 to 59 years, 26 deaths in the age group 60 to 69 years, 45 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years, and 26 deaths in the age group over 80 years.

127 of the deaths registered corresponded to some patients who presented comorbidities and 3 deceased patients did not present comorbidities.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 12,688. Of these, 1,076 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 3,488,090 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 11,445 were carried out in the last 24 hours, 7,286 based on the case definition and medical protocol and 4,159 upon request.

In Romania, 41,024 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 24,762 people are in institutional isolation. Additionally, 72,980 people are in home quarantine and 19 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 2,738 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 8,487 sanctions for minor infractions, worth 1,455,795 lei.

Likewise, yesterday, through the competent structures of the Police, 2 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

We remind citizens that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to health protection regulations can be notified.

The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,862 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,934 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 167 in the Kingdom United, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 9 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar , Vatican, Portugal and Egypt.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
