CORONAVIRUS in Romania – Balance September 28

  • To date, on September 28, in Romania, 123,944 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.
  • 99,344 patients were declared cured.
  • After tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 1,271 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Apart from the recently confirmed cases, after retesting the patients who were already positive, 246 people were positively reconfirmed.

  • Until today, 4,748 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.

Between 27.09.2020 (10:00) – 28.09.2020 (10:00) there were 30 deaths (15 men and 15 women), of some patients infected by the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeş, Bacău, Bihor, Botoşani, Cluj, Constanţa, Dolj, Gorj, Maramureş, Prahova, Tulcea, Vaslui, Vrancea and Bucharest.

  • Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 20 to 29 years, 1 death in the age group 40 to 49 years, 2 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 7 deaths in the age group age 60 to 69 years, 10 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 9 deaths in the category over 80 years.
  • 29 of the deaths registered were of patients who presented comorbidities and one deceased patient did not present comorbidities.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 7,528. Of these, 557 are hospitalized in ATI.

On the territory of Romania, 10,331 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are isolated at homeand 7,395 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 24,136 people are in home quarantine and 179 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

4,718 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection died.

Between 26.09.2020 (10:00) – 27.09.2020 (10:00) there were 31 deaths (21 men and 10 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Bacău, Bihor, Botoşani, Brăila, Braşov, Caraş-Severin, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Galaţi, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Maramureş, Neamţ, Olt, Prahova, Teleorman, Timiş, Vaslui and Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 40 to 49 years, 2 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 11 deaths in the age category 60 to 69 years, 7 deaths in the age category age 70 to 79 years. years and 10 deaths in the category of over 80 years.

All deaths were in patients with comorbidities.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,408. Of these, 535 are hospitalized in ATI.
