The hype for PlayStation 5 is at its peak right now. Fans are ready to pre-order, next-gen games look great, and the future generally looks pretty bright. However, the Twitter account for PlayStation Spain clearly recognized this and decided to play a cruel prank on his followers. A short time ago, he tweeted the official profile of Sony Spain asking if he could be aware of some PS5 news that will be released later today.
The account replied with: “Stay tuned for what’s to come!” However, the PlayStation Spain account had none of that. Like us, he wanted to know now. And this is where, unfortunately, the troll begins.
All that the Sony Spain account had to announce was a range of Bravia televisions that were named “Ready for PlayStation 5”. We assume these sets have the best 4K, HDR, and HDMI 2.1 visual capabilities the hardware maker has to offer, but it’s obviously not the news PlayStation fans were expecting. However, both accounts knew exactly what they were doing: winking emojis and everything.
Hopefully the information we are waiting for is just around the corner.
