Peacock app now available for Android and Android TV, after delayed startup


Peacock is now available on Android devices, including Android TVs, after waiting longer than expected for the app to hit the Google Play Store. While the app doesn’t appear in search results, you can find it with this direct link.

Peacock also launched early for Apple devices, appearing in the App Store on Tuesday night.

Peacock compatible devices include:

  • iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
  • Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD
  • Android devices and Android TV
  • Chromecast
  • Xbox One family, including Xbox One S and Xbox One X
  • Vizio Smartcast
  • LG Smart TVs
  • Xfinity Flex 4K
  • PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro *

Peacock offers a free tier with limited content and ads, along with a premium tier for $ 4.99 / mo. Subscribers can also upgrade to an ad-free experience for an additional $ 5 a month.
