WASHINGTON DC (VG) “Stop the robbery!” Trump supporters who have taken to the streets of Washington to show their support for his erroneous allegations of voter fraud are screaming.

– We came here because we want to support the president and do our part to make the election correct, says the couple Patrick (42) and Jessica (33) who have driven two hours from Harrisford, Pennsylvania to participate in the rally.

The Harrisford couple believe the turnout is “absolutely incredible.”

– Do you think this will give a different electoral result?

– You have to try!

“UNITED STATES! UNITED STATES!” Yells the protesters. While one man speaks of the will of God, many hold their hands up and stand completely still.

President Donald Trump walked past the rally on Saturday afternoon, confirming that the outgoing president has not accepted the election result.

In a video posted on Twitter, the president can be seen greeting the protesters who have appeared:

Among the protesters is a woman with the sign “Latinas por Trump”.

-I support the wall against Mexico one hundred percent, he tells VG.

– Here are the American laws that apply and others must comply with them. If you do not have a permit, you are not allowed to enter the country, says the woman.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany posted an enthusiastic message on Twitter about the rally, stating that one million (!) Have taken to the streets to support the president.

There were not that many, notes the Washington Post, which writes that McEnany has multiplied the real number by 200. But several thousand had turned up on the streets of the capital.

The protesters included the far-right Proud Boys.

The group became world famous in September, when President Donald Trump said “Proud Boys, stand back and be prepared” during the presidential debate against Joe Biden. By then, Trump had been asked to distance himself from white nationalists.

VG met with the group’s leader, Enrique Tarrio, about three hours before the demonstration officially began.

– My goal is unity, says the leader of the far-right Proud Boys organization, Enrique Tarrio, to VG.

– That is what we need now, and then we must protest. We have to get away from the phones and go outside. If we don’t like something, we must protest.
