In the past 24 hours, 454 new corona infections have been reported in Denmark, the highest number in a day so far. On Saturday, the country will introduce strict national restrictions to reduce the spread of the infection.

The spread of the infection in the Madrid region is approximately six times greater than in the rest of the country. The worst of Spain

Spain currently has the most severe spread of infection in the EU / EEA, with 292 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks.

The corresponding figure for France is 172, Denmark 69, Great Britain 62 and Iceland 22.

Norway and Sweden have detected a maximum of 27 and 30 cases of infection per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days.
