– It’s my best achievement this winter. Especially the first jump, with everything that happened. I had to wait so long, says Granerud about the different wind conditions in an interview with the organizer.

For TV 2, Granerud says he is proud to deliver two good jumps in such demanding conditions, conditions that many of the other jumpers were unable to circumvent.
– It was completely raw. They were two very good jumps. A little late in the second half, but it’s just a really good ski jump, says Granerud.
He becomes the third Norwegian to win four races in a row at the World Cup. Espen Bredesen and Ole Bremseth already have the same feat.
– Hats off to what Granerud is doing today. You are a bit speechless when a Norwegian manages to jump so well in difficult conditions, says TV 2 jumping expert Tom Hilde.
– Just because it happens before Hoppuka doesn’t mean we have lower expectations.
For Marius Lindvik, the day ended with a solid 10th place after two good jumps. Johann André Forfang was number 18, while Sander Vossan Eriksen was number 22.
Victim of bad conditions
Robert Johansson was in third place in the World Cup before Saturday’s race, but was the victim of miserable conditions.
The 30-year-old landed at 104 meters and finished in 44th place with just four shots behind him. Among them was Daniel-André Tande, who also had to surrender under difficult conditions.
– It can be said that he (Johansson) was euthanized. Extremely unfortunate, Tom Hilde concludes.
