An associate professor at the University of Bergen (UiB) was fired after allegedly photographing students without their knowledge.
On Thursday, the UiB university board fired a researcher and associate professor.
Most concluded that scientific staff “have repeatedly violated their duties,” Khrono writes.
– Our husband is very disappointed. He had expected a different result, Helge Holgersen in the Researchers Association tells the newspaper.
The case concerns the man’s relationship with his students and the photos he is said to have taken of some of them. There is no mention of metoo or sexual harassment in the case documents, according to the newspaper.

The academic staff member received a written warning in 2018, based on the relationship with two students in the fall of 2017.
In the faculty board case documents, it appears that this must have been close-ups with a focus on the buttocks and chest. These are not nude photos.
