This fall, Heintz has impressed on loan at former club Sarpsborg 08 after a difficult time at Kasimpasa following the transfer in January 2019.

He himself was aware that the return to the club was misplaced, before receiving a phone call from the club’s management on Monday night, informing him to return, to be ready to play the league match against Fenerbahce on the 4th. from January.

– What has happened is that Kasimpasa fired both the president and the club coach a few weeks ago. It is the former president who has been difficult for me. With him out of the picture, they wanted him back now, Heintz explains to Dagbladet over the phone from Istanbul.

Fly tuesday

After Monday’s message, Kasimpasa managed to fly a plane as early as Tuesday. Thus, the game creator’s Christmas plans also came to an end.

– I had plans to be home at Moss all Christmas and Christmas Eve as I didn’t think anything would happen sooner, Heintz explains.

He also highlights that he could have stayed at home until December 31, as that is when the contract with Sarpsborg expires.

– But they were stressed by having to take two negative corona tests and start training with the team, so I can probably start on Friday. That’s what it’s like to be a footballer in another country, I think. There are no holidays here at Christmas, for me it is not optimal, but I don’t think about it much, says the 22-year-old.

– How do you see a new stay in Kasimpasa?

– I have been given the opportunity to prove to people that they were wrong. I did not have a fair chance the last time, but today I spoke with the coach and he expressed the desire to bet on me, I am positive. The last six months in which I have played all the games have helped me a lot, I think we will see.

A year and a half left

He has a year and a half left on his contract with the club, but says the plan is not to complete it. The signals it has received are that it will play this winter and spring, before the hope is to sell it.

– Everyone knows how fast you can spin if you play well in Turkey, so there are opportunities outside, Heintz points out.

An example of this is Alexander Sørloth. After failing at Crystal Palace and disappointing on loan at Ghent, he played one season for Trabzonspor and was sold to RB Leipzig this summer.

– Where is the next dream destination?

– The ultimate dream is to play in Spain, I would have done well. Some possibilities for that were discussed as early as January. There was no direct contact, but he indicated through some intermediaries that there was interest. In half a year, those opportunities may be greater. It’s a big dream, but it can be realistic, concludes Heintz from Turkey.
