The condition of Svein Arne Hansen (73), former president of the Norwegian Athletics Association and current president of the European Athletics Association, is stable after stroke and subsequent complications.

This is reported by Svein’s son Arne Hansen and the family’s spokesman, Philip Wilkens (42), to VG.

– I was anxious when complications arose in the hospital. But it seems stable now, and that’s evidence of progress, says Philip Wilkens.
