But it’s been a while since we saw Thea Olsen (34) on screen. She was a presenter of “The best of the best” and a sports presenter on TV 2, but in 2016 she resigned.

Then it was time to spend more time with the family. Olsen is now a stepmother.

Since 2016, he has been in the marketing department of TV 2. Now he will leave the channel in favor of Danske Bank.

– I just couldn’t say no to this opportunity. The consumer economist at Danske Bank is a very exciting role to jump into, and I’m very excited, says Olsen, adding:

– And then I’ve been on TV 2 for 12 years, so it was time to change. I feel like I was born in NRK, grew up on TV 2, and now was the time to move house.

Now he is going to become a consumer economist and he thinks that is the best thing for him.

– So, my job is to convey all the solid financial experience that Danske Bank has in a simple and easy way for people to understand. I have a genuine desire for people to better understand their personal finances and that simple financial measures can improve life.

– Did you end up in the role of journalist and on the screen?

– I hope and believe that I will appear constantly on the home screen, in people’s living rooms, but also as a consumer economist for Danske Bank, and hopefully with good advice and suggestions, says Olsen.

– How have the last years of the screen been? Have you missed the role of host?

– I am very grateful for all the opportunities and roles that TV 2 gave me, and the collaboration with the wonderful people who work there. Now I hope to bring the good experience of the media industry to a new role at Danske Bank.

The former TV 2 host has also had bank blood over the years: When she married in 2014, it was her uncle, central bank governor Øystein Olsen, who led her to the church floor.
