– The next Horizon Zero Dawn game will be huge

Horizon Zero Dawn was a huge success for developer Guerilla Games, and while no sequels have been confirmed yet, rumors have long emerged. Now these rumors have even more meat on their feet.

The VGC website has been in contact with various sources claiming that Sony has fairly large plans for Horizon Zero Dawn.

According to sources, Sony has given the green light to an entire trilogy, which means that we have two more games in the series if the information is correct.

Guerilla should have started working on Horizon Zero Dawn 2 almost immediately after the successful launch of the first game, and sources should have it for the game to become the next generation of PlayStation.

VGC sources use the word “gigantic” over the sequel, which means the game has significantly larger areas for fun and much more freedom when it comes to exploration. The game should also offer a collaborative mode.

There’s no word yet on the third game in the series.

The last we reported on sequel rumors was back in November of last year, when job ads appeared on Guerilla Games looking for people to help build plant life in a game world, suggesting it’s Horizon Zero Dawn 2.

Earlier last year, a dubbing actor from the game was also apparently a bit sloppy when he told a fan that the sequel was on the way. The statement was broadcast live on Twitch, and it wasn’t long before it spread like wildfire.

Released in 2017, Horizon Zero Dawn was widely praised by critics. Here at work, our reviewer awarded the game 9 out of 10 points.
